To bring their new Mr. Burberry fragrance to a younger demographic, Burberry partnered with Media.Monks to create a fun and simple Snapchat game. Guided by the pixel-art brief, we created a fast-paced, side-scrolling runner that takes players across multiple iconic London locations from a busy street to a thundering skyline, all to show that, no matter what the world throws at him, Mr. Burberry is never late for a date.
The pace of the game was matched only by the heart-pounding 6-week production schedule. To make sure we wouldn’t miss our own (delivery) date, everyone needed to wear multiple hats, a practice I always appreciate, in this case, because I was able to leverage my game design experience.
